New Delhi: Three Nepalis have been arrested here for killing a compatriot, police said Monday.
Shiv Raj, 28, Jang Bahadur, 23, and Dharam Pal, 43, were arrested from Anand Vihar bus depot in east Delhi Sunday.
“They strangled Padam Bahadur, in his 20s, on July 18,” said Additional Commissioner of Police Devesh Chandra Srivastava.
The incident was reported Aug 24 by the victim’s brother Ram Chander.
He told police that his brother came to Delhi from Nepal with Jang Bahadur July 18. The next day he was found dead.
Jang Bahadur told interrogators that he wanted to buy a piece of land in his village but it was bought by Ram Chander. So he wanted to take revenge, police said.
