Aligarh: Dr. Mohd. Kamil Usmani, Associate Professor in Department of Zoology at the Aligarh Muslim University has been bestowed upon the prestigious “Eminent Scientist of the Year Award 2012” by the National Environmental Science Academy in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of Entomology.
Dr. Usmani has authored four books, published 70 research papers in journals of national and international repute and headed six research projects successfully.

Earlier, Dr. Usmani has received TWAS-CAS fellowship from Chinese Academy of Science, China to work on molecular Systematics.
