Islamabad : Two people were held at Pakistan’s Lahore airport Friday while carrying nearly 10 kg of heroin in their luggage, Geo News reported.
According to Airport Security Force (ASF), the heroin was seized from two passengers at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
One of the accused was from Gujrat city in Punjab province of Pakistan and travelling to Doha by a foreign airline. He was detained with seven kg of heroin. The other passenger, travelling to Bahrain, was carrying 2.25 kg of heroin. Both had hidden the contraband in their handbags.
Ten grams of the contraband are valued at about Pakistan Rs.3,000.
