New Delhi: Human helfare foundation has been honored with national award for its works on education. The award is a joint venture of Chamber of Education, New Delhi and Calicut University, Kerala.
Dr M Abdul Salam, Vice Chancellor of University of Calicut handed over award to Prof KA Siddique Hassan, General Secretary Human Welfare Foundation in a programme held at the University.
The award is given for the extra ordinary works done by the foundation in the educational promotion at national level under ‘Vision 2016’ project. The foundation, since the last 5 years, has helped in establishing 44 schools, slum schools, hostels, organized awards for academic excellence, distributed scholarships, organized education awareness campaigns, availed government scholarships for the needy and that it’s a model for the whole country.
