Astana: Twenty-seven people died in Kazakhstan Tuesday when a military plane in which they were travelling crashed, Xinhua reported.
The plane crashed near Shymkent region. The aircraft disappeared from the radar screen at 1300 GMT en route to Shymkent from Astana. The plane caught fire after the crash.
