The Chup Taziya procession originated from Nazim Saheb ka Imambara and passed through Nakhas and Billochpura and culminated at Roza-e-Kazmain. As per the tradition the procession originated at 6 am and reached its destination by 10:30 am. A majlis was addressed by Maulana Zahid before the procession. The procession was accompanied by two taziyas one red and other blue in colour.

The striking feature of the procession being that no matam was performed and only marsiyas of Meer Anees and Mirza Dabeer were read out by the marsiyakhwan. The procession is part of the tripartite agreement between Shia, Sunni and district administration in 1999.
