New Delhi: Prof. Siddique Hassan, General Secretary, Association for Protection of Civil Rights [APCR] has observed that the Gujarat high court’s decision, criticizing the government of Gujarat for its failure in protecting the religious places during riots as a historical decision. He appreciated the verdict by the court which asks the government to either repair or reconstruct and pay compensation; which also makes the principal judges of 26 districts responsible for the implementation of orders. He congratulated the Islamic Relief committee, Gujarat, Advocate Muchala, Advocate MTM Hakeem and others for their sincere efforts in this regard.
