New Delhi: The famed Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan, thrown open to people for visit, will remain closed Wednesday in the wake of a programme in the President’s Estate, it was announced.
The gardens will reopen for public viewing again from Feb 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the the annual opening of the Mughal Gardens, which is also called “Udyanotsav”, people visit the historic gardens.
The gardens will also remain closed March 8, 2012, on the occasion of Holi, besides every Monday for maintenance.
Entry into the gardens is allowed only till 4 p.m. on the visit days through Gate No.35 of the President’s Estate.
