Islamabad : At least 15 people were killed and 10 injured Friday in a suicide blast that tore through a market in Pakistan’s northwest tribal area, a media report said.
The attack took place around 1.50 p.m. at the main market in Parachinar, a city in northwest Kurram Agency, which is located just 15 km from the Afghan border, reported Xinhua citing a TV report.
Many shops around the blast site were damaged.
Friday’s suicide blast in Kurram Agency is the third of its kind that happened in Pakistan over the last two days.
