Moscow : Seven militants were killed in an operation in Russia’s Chechnya region, an official said Friday.
The five-day operation was carried out in the eastern Chechen border with Dagestan, Xinhua reported.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said the militants belonged to a group suspected of conducting terrorist acts. Thirteen government troopers were killed in the operation.
