New Delhi : Two children returning from school were crushed under a speeding Santro car, which swerved and hit a divider, killing the driver, police said Thursday.
The children, aged eight and seven, were crushed under the Santro as they were crossing the road while returning home from school Thursday afternoon in north west Delhi.
The Santro driver braked the speeding car when he saw the children, but it was too late. The car then swerved and hit a divider and crashed, killing the driver, said police.
