New Delhi : A special court here Thursday issued notice to the CBI on an application by Vinod Goenka, DB Realty managing director and accused in the 2G case, seeking personal exemption from appearance in the daily hearing.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge O.P. Saini asked the probe agency to reply by March 13.
Goenka’s counsel Majid Memon said that the business of his client had been affected due to attending the daily proceeding in court.
He added that his absence from the trial court would not hamper the judicial process.
