New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation Monday registered a case against two Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials suspected for facilitating unauthorised constructions in south Delhi.
The CBI said that the officials were allegedly involved in a criminal conspiracy with the owner of the property, a retired army officer. Searches were conducted at residential premises of accused persons and incriminating documents were recovered.
“Incriminating documents pertaining to the unauthorised constructions recovered from the office of MCD’s executive engineer (Najafgarh Zone) are being scrutinized for further investigation,” the agency said.
