“Now Priyanka Gandhi has started to train her children to wave hands,” Gadkari told a press conference in Panaji, ahead of elections to the Goa assembly March 3.

“I am an ordinary worker, who has reached this position. I have no mother, father or brother in politics… This dynastic rule is a threat to democracy,” Gadkari said.

The BJP national president, who is in Goa to campaign for his party, added that the Congress has imposed sitting legislators and their kin as 12 candidates out of the 33 available to the party in its alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party.

“They have no political credibility. They have been imposed on the people of Goa. Goa should vote against dynastic rule,” Gadkari said.
