London : England will face Norway and Belgium in their final two friendlies before competing in UEFA Euro 2012.
As the governing body of the game in England, the Football Association (FA) announced the schedule on the official website that Fabio Capello’s side will play the two games before departing for the European tournament in Poland and Ukraine in June.
The Three Lions will play Norway in Oslo May 26, before hosting the final game at Wembley against Belgium June 2, Xinhua reported.
For the final two warm-up games, England manager Capello said he was happy with the plan.
“In the draw we face, one of the hosts, Ukraine, will be a difficult atmosphere to replicate,” said the Italian. “But looking at the styles of France and Sweden, I feel these games are a good preparation for us.”
England’s first group match is against France June 11.
