Islamabad : Pakistan Prime Minster Yousuf Raza Gilani Wednesday sacked Defence Secretary Lt. Gen Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Retd.), Geo News reported.
Lodhi had assumed the charge last November.
The reason for his sacking was given as misconduct and the unlawful steps he took.
Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi will assume the additional responsibilities of the defence secretary, the report added.
