Bhopal: A Kashmiri student was fired at by two unidentified assailants and critically injured in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh Saturday, police said.
The student, Shabbir Ahmed, from Srinagar, was doing his M.Phil from Vikram Vishwavidyalaya.
“Shabbir was walking on the road when two unidentified people came on a bike and shot at him,” said Superintendent of Police Rajesh Sahay.
Ahmed’s condition is critical.
