The drones targeted a house and a vehicle in Wacha Dana town, 10 km from Wana, the main town of South Waziristan along the Afghan border, Dawn News reported.

Two US drones fired four missiles at the house belonging to a suspected militant commander. At the time of the attack, militants had gathered to offer condolences to the brother of a militant commander killed during a drone attack a day ago.

However, Geo News said five militants were killed and three others injured. The house was completely razed to the ground.

Sources said there were still four drones hovering over the area.

According to Xinhua, witnesses said two drones first fired two missiles at a house followed by two missiles at a car.

This was the 19th drone strike this year, in which at least 129 people have been killed.

On Saturday, four people including two militant commanders were killed when two drones attacked a house in Wana.

Pakistan has been protesting over such attacks by the US drones, terming them as violation of its sovereignty.
