Islamabad : A Pakistani politician was detained at a US airport for five hours, it was reported here Thursday.
Awami Muslim League chief Shaikh Rashid was detained by immigration authorities at Houston airport, Texas, but was released after interrogation, Geo TV reported.
Shaikh was allowed to go after Pakistan’s Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman intervened.
