Four killed in Maharashtra accident

Nashik (Maharashtra): Four people were killed and a minor got injured when a truck rammed into an autorickshaw on the Manmad-Malegaon road in Nashik district Friday, police said.

“The truck hit the autorickshaw while overtaking it. All the four men travelling in the auto were killed, while a three-year-old girl with them was critically injured in the accident,” said B.H. Balitkar, a police official from Chandvad in Nashik district.

The accident took place near Kudalgaon, around 80 km from the district headquarters of Nashik.

Those killed have been identified as Anil Wagh, 42, Valmik Bidgar, 52, Baban Sonone, 53, and Vikram Kale, 40.
