Kabul : Twenty-two Afghan militants gave up arms and handed over their weapons to the authorities Sunday, an official said.
The security situation in Baghlan province will be further improved with these militants joining the peace process, governor Munshi Majid said at a ceremony to welcome them.
He also called upon other militants to give up fighting.
Baghlan is 160 km from Kabul.
