Targeting an occupancy ratio of around 75 percent next fiscal, the 144 room property is targeting domestic tourists with attractive offerings – package rates with spread out payment options.

“We will tie up with tour operators in Russia, South Africa, Australia and other countries and promote our property. There has been a dip in the tourists from Europe,” senior vice president Vikram Cotah told reporters here Thursday.

According to him the resort is expected to close the current fiscal with an occupancy ratio of around 66 percent and a revenue of Rs.54 crore.

“Next year we hope to close with a revenue of Rs.60 crore and an occupancy ratio of 75 percent. The growth in occupancy rates will be from our promotional schemes which opens up to a large number of people to experience a five star beach resort stay,” Cotah added.

The resort has also added catamaran and jet ski ride as attractions for its guests which in turn are expected to increase the guest arrivals to the property.

Referring to the new summer chiller plans, general manager Shabin Sarvotham said the resort has designed packages like one-night and two-night three-day.

“Guests having HDFC credit/debit cards can pay the hotel bill in three/six equated monthly instalments at no additional cost. The tax component on the room tariff will also be borne by the resort,” Sarvotham said.

He said guests booking the package before March 21 will get a voucher worth Rs.2,000 which could be redeemed at any of the food and beverage and other services.

The one night package is priced at Rs.7,750, two-night/three package for Rs.12,999 on weekdays and Rs.14,999 on weekends. The package includes complimentary breakfast and there is also a 30 percent discount on food and beverage bill.
