Beijing : China’s national political advisors have submitted over 6,000 proposals to the government for the development of the country, an official said.
The proposals were submitted at the annual session of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the top political advisory body, Xinhua reported.
Liu Xiaobing, in charge of collecting the proposals, said that compared to 2011, the proposals this year place more attention to developing real economy, supporting small and micro-sized enterprises, problems facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers, as well as accelerating reforms of the financial system.
The proposals also speak of promoting development in ethnic minority regions, strengthening emission reduction and environmental protection, reform in science and technology and innovation in social management.
