Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh president of Popular Front of India, Mr. Mohammed Arif Ahmed has strongly condemn the objectionable photo of Kaba (Mecca) allegedly displayed on the facebook page of the Sangareddy BJP leader Pavan Mudiraj, which hurt the feelings of Muslim community. He also condemned “the ignition of communal violence in Sangareddy town of Medak district by the communal outfits when the Muslim youth were peacefully agitating and demanding the arrest of that BJP leader.”
Ahmed stated that the leaders of the secular party and the police have shown discrimination during the violence in which Muslims were targeted & injured, their shops were destroyed and stones were pelted upon the Nomania Masjid. He demanded the government to stop the discriminations against Muslims and stated that the responsibility of the police and the political leaders is to establish the harmony among all the communities and must react and involve immediately during these situations to curb the violence.
Recently an incident of desecration of the holy Quran took place in Siddipet area of Medak district, but the government has not taken the issue seriously; as a result of this the communal forces are getting strengthened in the state.
