Kolkata : East Bengal football coach Trevor James Morgan Monday quit from his post, hours after the red and gold brigade won the Kolkata Premier division football league, amid speculation of growing differences with club officials.
A source said Morgan – unhappy with the bossy style of some club officials – mailed his resignation to the club. He also skipped the post-match media conference after East Bengal whipped Mohammedan Sporting 6-0 in a crucial game.
The source said an upset Morgan was considering flying back home as soon as possible.
