Muslim quota, terror arrests to be discussed at 31st General Session of Jamiat Ulama

New Delhi: Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind (Mahmood Madani faction) is going to hold its 31st General Session at here sprawling Ramlila Ground on 19th May 2012. Reservation for Muslims and illegal detention and arrest of innocent Muslim youths in terror cases are high among the one dozen issues to be discussed at the conference.

Various political parties, religious denominations, heads of prominent institutions and NGOs, social activists, intellectuals, academicians and media personalities are attending the program.

Other issues include communal violence bill, Citizenship rights of Assamese people, Protection of waqf properties and restoration of mosques under ASI, Introduction of Qazi Bill in the context of Muslim personal laws and Issues of Kashmiri people.

The conference will begin at 5 PM at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
