New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janta Party Friday said there was no divide within the party.
BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, at the regular party briefing, jumped to deny any rift in the party when asked about the political situation of the party in Karnataka.
“The BJP is totally united; there is no divide in the party,” Hussain said.
“All leaders are working towards making the part stronger. The aim is only to strengthen the party,” he said.
Hussain’s comment come in the backdrop of former Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa’s spurting revolts. Yeddyurappa Friday inaugurated a separate office, which is being seen as a bid to distance himself from the BJP.
