Pakistan revenue collection up 25 percent

Islamabad : Revenue collection in Pakistan has registered a 25 percent growth during the first 10 months of 2011-12 fiscal year as compared to last year, Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said.

“If the trend continues, the revenue target of Rs.1,952 billion (about $21 billion) is expected to be achieved by the end of current financial year,” the official APP news agency quoted Shaikh as saying Saturday.
