Riyadh : Twenty-two people died in Riyadh Thursday when an oil tanker exploded in a ball of fire.
The blast took place after the vehicle hit a bridge on Shaikh Jaber road. Over 100 people were injured, Xinhua reported. Several nearby vehicles and houses were damaged.
The injured, including the driver, were shifted to a hospital. The fire was later doused.
