Lucknow : The Allahabad High Court Thursday ordered the removal of Noida authority chairman and CEO and directed a CBI probe into the allegations of irregularities in land allotments since 2001.
Justice P.K.S Baghel ordered the immediate transfer of NOIDA Development Authority Chairman Rakesh Bahadur and Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Saran, both Indian Administrative Service officers.
While hearing a petition filed by Madhav Samaj Nirman Samiti, the court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to present a preliminary report within six months.
The court also directed the departments concerned to complete the pending departmental and criminal probes against the two officials within six months.
