MIM leaders released from police custody

Hyerabad: Majlis-e-Itehadul-Muslimeen leaders including its Assembly floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi has been released at 8:30 p.m. from the Bolaram police station on Sunday.

Seven MIM MLAs, one MLC and many councilors were arrested after they tried to march towards Charminar to inspect the illegal expansion of Bhagya Lakshmi temple even after the stay order from the High court.

A caravan of cars escorted Akbaruddin Owaisi and other MIM leaders out of the Bolarum police station in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
In the way caravan was provided huge security and was greeted by huge followers of MIM in every crossroad.

Akbaruddin Owaisi occasionally slide his window down or opened his car door to greet his followers on the streets raising slogans in support of MIM and against the police.

The caravan finally reached MIM headquarters Daraulsalam where released MIM leaders were greeted by huge line of supporters.

Akbaruddin Owaisi after reaching party headquarters has reportedly fax the High court stay order to the higher Police, ASI and Govt. officials as a reminder that any fresh construction at the temple is illegal.
