Washington: A total of five people, including three children, were killed Tuesday in a house fire in the rural areas of US’ Ohio state, Xinhua reported.
According to WTVG, an ABC-affiliated television station for northwest Ohio, which covers the Toledo area, the fire broke out in the morning about 80 km from Toledo. A truck driver spotted the flames and called for help. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the house was fully engulfed.
The county’s public information officer confirmed that fire crews found five bodies inside a home Tuesday morning. Up to 40 firefighters were on the scene Tuesday afternoon.
