New Delhi: The All India Students’ Association (AISA) is organising a ‘Save Jamia Citizen’s Convention’ at Urdu Ghar (ITO) on 18 Oct.
According to organizers, many eminent journalists, academicians and civil right activists would be participating in the convention.
The convention is against, what they call ‘a very difficult situation created by the present administration and their bosses at the government.’
In recent months, Jamia has seen massive hike in fees. The main demand is for bringing back students’ union and more democratization of the campus, particularly those pertaining to students activities.
