Lucknow : A Home Guard was battling for life after robbers shot him and snatched his motorcycle in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, police said Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police K. Satyanarayan told IANS that 30-year-old Anzaar was going home Monday night when he was robbed of his cash and the motorcyle.
When Anzaar resisted, he was shot. Police said he was in a serious condition.
