Baghdad: A total of 10 people, including five Iranian pilgrims, were killed and many injured in two separate bombing incidents in Iraq Saturday, a day when Muslims in different parts of the world celebrated Eid al-Adha festival.
The first explosion was caused by a sticky bomb attached to a bus carrying Iraninan pilgrims in Taji area, near Baghdad, Xinhua quoted a source as saying. It was headed to a Shia shrine in Baghdad to mark Eid al-Adha.
In a separate incident, five peole were killed while 13 others suffered injuries when a roadside bomb ripped through a popular market in Baghdad, the source added.
