Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh will get Rs 1219 crores for various schemes under Multi Sectoral Development Programme(MsDP) for the 21 minority dominated districts. This financial outlay has been estimated in the 12th five year plan.
On the other hand, the projects which were taken up during the previous fiscal under 11th five year plan are still incomplete in the state. The scheme aims at providing facilities in the minority dominated districts for their upliftment. Hardly any project has been completed in this scheme.

As per the official details, Indira Awas which are dwellings for poor (here: minorities) the target has not yet been achieved. From the target of 84730 such houses nearly 15578 are under construction, Anganwadi Centres the target was 9281units while 3491 remains under construction, installation of hand pumps the target was 10534 units while 5532 remain under construction, for additional classrooms the target was 588 while 526 are under construction, in Primary Health Centre, the target was 922 while 322 are still under construction. Similarly 44 school building are under construction while 21 ITI, seven polytechnics and 11 hostels are also under construction.
Chief Secretary, Javed Usmani took stock of the situation during a meeting on Wednesday. He issued strong orders that all the pending projects be completed within next three months.
On the other hand, new proposals have also to be submitted to the government. The proposals are yet to be received from the respective DM. Chief Secretary Usmani also ordered that all the proposals which are to be submitted from DM level should reach the government within next 15 days.
