Beijing: Six people, including a one-year-old boy, suffered serious burns after a sulphuric acid spill outside a plant in China, police said Saturday.
The incident took place Friday in Guangxi Zhuang region when the acid was being unloaded from a truck at a plant in the provincial capital Nanning, Xinhua reported.
Over two tonnes of acid spilled onto a busy road outside, toppling several motorcycles and injuring the six people, police said.
An investigation found the spill was caused by an improper unloading method.
