Kolkata : A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee decided to pull the plug from UPA regime, the Congress asked its ministers in the state to skip the cabinet meet held Wednesday.
Small Scale Industries Minister Manas Bhuniya and Fisheries Minister Abu Hena skipped the meeting.
“We asked our party high command to advice us what we should do (in view of) an abnormal political situation,” Abu Hena told IANS.
“The Congress high command told us it is better that we don’t attend the cabinet meet.”
