Aligarh: Simplicity is the hallmark of the young gandhians active for peace and communal harmony over a year under the banner of Khudai Khidmatgar. Sitting under a tree in the premises of Old Central Canteen at Aligarh Muslim University on Saturday, the group headed by noted social activist Faisal Khan formed its AMU unit. Khudai Khidmatgar has formed its units in several states including Assam and Jammu and Kashmir.
Khudai Khidmatgar organized its meeting to form Aligarh chapter on 22nd September. Khudai Khidmatgar chief Faisal Khan, Secretary Inamul Hasan, secretariat in-charge Tabish Batti participated in this meeting. The meeting held for the nomination of coordination committee for Aligarh chapter. Addressing the gathering, Faisal Khan said, the objective of Khudai Khidmatgar in recent situation is to strengthen peace and communal harmony. He expressed the necessity of the group in current socio political situation happening throughout the country. He asked participants to work swiftly for peace, brotherhood and humanity which are the basic teachings of Islam for the mankind. Major part of his speech focused on national integrity and sovereignty.

Khudai Khidmatgar’s National Secretary Inamul Hasan expressed the need and necessity of Youth to work for Peace and unity.
Tabish Batti, in-charge of National Secretariat, declared the selected Coordination Committee members for AMU chapter.
The members of Aligarh Chapter Coordination Committee are 1.Aqeel Usmani, 2.Dr. Saleem, 3.Atiur Rahman, 4.Sahab Shabbir, 5.Farhan Shamsi, 6.Amood Gulzar, 7. Abdul Qadir.
