Azam Khan gives a call to clerics to mourn the death of Muslims across world

Rampur, UP: After the incident at Boston Airport where he was detained briefly, cabinet minister Azam Khan gave a call to the religious cleric to observe Youm-e-Shahadat to mourn the death of Muslims in Iraq and other regions by Americans.

Khan blamed the USA for being anti-Muslim and biggest enemy of the Muslim community. Azam Khan and CM Akhilesh Yadav had boycotted the lecture at Harvard University after Azam was detained at Boston Airport. Khan returned to India on Sunday. He was interacting with newsmen at Rampur
on Monday.

Khan claimed that the US authorities could have easily framed him in any conspiracy. “It is not a matter of insult only. I could have landed in great trouble if they had implicated me in any conspiracy,” he siad.

He claimed that clerics of all sects should join hands and observe Yaum-e-Shahdat to mourn the death of Muslims who have been killed by US forces. He claimed that US had also captured areas in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Iraq.

Azam Khan also advised Pakistan to follow the Holy Quran where it is written on how to treat the prisoners. The remark was in response to Sarabjit’s injury in Pakistan. Azam made this remark on grounds that Pakistan is an Islamic country.
