Pleasant Tuesday in Delhi

    New Delhi: The capital woke to light drizzle and pleasant Tuesday morning, with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degree Celsius, average for this time of the year. The weatherman has predicted more rains later in the day.

    “The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain occurring in some parts of the city,” said an India Meteorological Department official.

    The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degree Celsius.

    However in the morning, there have been no report accumulation of water on the roads.

    Humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 95 percent.

    The city has recorded 11.0 mm of rainfall since Monday. Since the arrival of monsoon in June, the national capital has recorded 460 mm of rain, which is 73 percent more than the average.

    Monday’s maximum and minimum temperatures settled a notch above the seasons average at 34.3 and 27.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
