Islamabad: At least three people were killed and 14 others injured in an explosion in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi city Tuesday, a leading Pakistani daily reported.
The blast, which sources said was the result of a suicide attack, took place in a parking lot in the Gracy Lane area of Rawalpindi, The Dawn reported.
Several vehicles within the vicinity of the blast have been damaged. An emergency has been declared at hospital’s in Rawalpindi after the explosion, the report said.
Bomb disposal and rescue operatives have rushed to the scene.
