New Delhi : Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Friday met Congress chief ministers and senior leaders to plan out a strategy for the 2014 Lok Sabha battle, party source said.
According to the sources, this is the first major brainstorming Gandhi had with senior colleagues and chief ministers after the Congress defeat in elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Delhi.
The Congress won only in Mizoram.
According to the sources, the meeting reviewed the implementation of the central government’s welfare programmes besides those of the Congress-ruled states.
