Aligarh: Students of the Aligarh Muslim University staged protest march against the execution of Afzal Guru, without any ‘fair trial.’ Hundreds of students join the protest and unanimously rejected the secretive nature of government’s execution. The pointed out that he was not allowed to meet even his family one last time.
They have demanded that the corpse should be handed over to the family and that Kashmiris should eb allowed to protest in a democratic manner.
The gathering was addressed by President of Jammu and Kashmir Alig Association Imtiyaz Rasool and Abdul Rouf – Research scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College AMU.
