Mumbai : Veteran journalist, writer and teacher P.K. Ravindranath passed away here Monday, a family friend said. He had throat cancer.
He was 86 and is survived by his wife Tara, a daughter and two sons.
A former media advisor to the then Maharashtra chief minister Sharad Pawar, Ravindranath also served as director of Nehru Centre in Mumbai.
He worked in various newspapers, including the National Herald, and scripted English sub-titles for Malayalam movies. He had authored a book, “Slice of Life”.
