New Delhi : India and Canada will hold another round of negotiations here on the proposed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in February, Canadian High Commissioner to India Stewart Beck said Monday.
“I think there is will at both the sides to conclude the proposed pact,” Beck told reporters on the sidelines of an event organised by the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce here.
“Canada wants an ambitious Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with India. The seventh round of the negotiation is going to take place in February in New Delhi.”
Beck said the deal would give a boost to the flow of trade and investment between the two countries.
“This is something which will also help Indian investments in Canada,” he said.
India, Canada had launched the CEPA negotiations in 2010.
