AMU students tour Indian Military Academy

Aligarh: In a first of its kind initiative, the Training & Placement Office ( General), Academic Staff College and the Senior Secondary School (Boys) of the Aligarh Muslim University jointly organized a tour of Class XII students aspiring to make career in defense sector to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The tour was organized with the objective to motivate the students and to give them the real feeling of being in Indian army.

The tour comprised of 30 students accompanied by Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General) and Dr. Faiz Zaidi, teacher, Senior Secondary Schools.

The students were excited and inspired by the spirit of Indian army and its contributions. They said they were highly motivated for joining the defense forces and serve the nation.

The Training and Placement Office (General) and Academic staff College are jointly running coaching for NDA entrance exam for the students of XII. The tour was a part of the coaching aimed at providing them motivation to work hard to qualify the competition.

Saad Hameed, TPO( General) said that more such tours will be organized in the future and the initiative is the beginning of a long term and meaningful association between AMU and Indian Military Academy.
