Aadil, Rahees, Shekhar and Laheek, all resident of Uttar Pradesh, and Ganpat of Andhra Pradesh were arrested for killing Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Sikanderpur village on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road, over Rs.15,000, police said.
Yadav was found murdered Feb 12 in his five-storey building in DLF Phase-1 area, police said.
Yadav owned a departmental store in the area. He also used to lend money on interest. He had given Rs.15,000 to Aadil and was demanding interest on the amount, police said.
“Aadil had lost a heavy amount while betting on a cricket match,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Duggal.
