Kolkata : The death toll in the market complex fire climbed to 20 after a critically injured person died in a hospital Friday.
“The death toll reached 20 after a severely burnt person died at N.R.S. Medical College and Hospital,” West Bengal Fire Services Minister Javed Khan said.
The Surya Sen Market in Sealdah in central Kolkata was destroyed in the massive blaze Feb 27.
