New Delhi: It was a clear and warm day in the capital Saturday with the maximum temperature settling at 26.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The Met Office has forecast similar weather conditions Sunday.
“The city would have a light mist cover tomorrow (Sunday) morning… The day would be sunny and pleasant,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 27 and 12 degrees Celsius Sunday, the IMD official added.
The minimum temperature Saturday was 11.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the year, while humidity levels wavered between 81 and 34 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature was two notches below average at 25.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 12.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
